To provide the "Swarm Engine" coordination features, we collect information in the following ways:
- Account Information: We collect your email address and chosen public username. You may voluntarily add profile details such as a bio, general location, and external links (e.g., "Buy Me a Coffee").
- Precise Geolocation Data: To map cleanup routes and "Sector Clearing," the Service collects your precise location while the app is in use. This data is required for core functionality.
- User-Generated Content: We store photographs of litter ("Garbage") you upload and metadata related to your cleanup routes. We explicitly prohibit photographs of identifiable people or private property.
- Anonymized Usage Data (Beta Phase): We use Microsoft Clarity to capture session recordings and heatmaps. This data is anonymized and used exclusively to fix bugs and improve the design during our initial testing phase.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data to:
- Operate and maintain the real-time "Swarm" mapping features.
- Display your public username, published routes, and meetups to other community members.
- Generate community statistics, impact heatmaps, and leaderboards.
- Improve app stability through anonymized analytics (Beta phase only).
- Communicate vital service updates or respond to support inquiries.
3. How We Share Your Information
P1 Creations LLC does not sell your personal information. We share data only in these specific scenarios:
- Public Community Features: Your username, bio, and published cleanup routes are visible to other users. Your email address remains private and is never displayed publicly.
- Service Providers: We use Google Firebase for hosting and data storage. Firebase is obligated to keep your data secure and use it only to provide services on our behalf.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order).
4. Data Security and Retention
All data is stored using industry-standard encryption via Google Firebase. We retain your information as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via the profile settings. Per our Terms, verifiable deletion requests will be processed within 45 days.
5. State-Specific Rights (CCPA/BIPA)
While we operate out of Illinois, we respect the privacy rights of all users. Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to your data, request a portable copy, or request deletion. We do not process "Biometric Identifiers" (BIPA) as we prohibit photographs containing identifiable faces.
6. Children's Privacy
Our Service is strictly for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover an account belongs to a minor, we will terminate it and delete all associated data immediately.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our tech stack or legal requirements. Significant changes will be notified via a notice within the Service.
